How to Adjust Your Credit Card Terminal For Daylight Savings Time
Terminals must be manually adjusted for "Daylight Savings Time". For your convenience, below are instructions for adjusting the time on the most popular terminals. Note: This applies to terminals only. Software and gateways adjust automatically. Should you have any questions regarding this, feel free to contact us.
Note: HHMMSS = hour/minute/seconds
Military time use a 24 hr. cycle (e.g. 8:15pm = 20:15)
DDMMYY = day/month/year
Nurits (all models)
> Menu (if prompted for password enter today's date MMDDYYYY, "enter") > 5 > "enter" > "enter" > enter today's date MMDDYY > type in time in military time (HHMM) > "enter" > press "menu" to go back to main screen
> The password for Nurit on Paymentech is DDMM
Hypercom (all models)
> Function 10 > "enter" > (password) 0000 > time in military time (HHMM) > "enter" > "cancel"
> Function 11 > type time in military time (HHMM) > "enter" > "cancel"
OMNI VX and 3700 Series (VX520 below)
> Press F2 and F4 at same time > (password if prompted: 1 - alpha - alpha - 66831) > scroll down to "clock" > press "edit time" > press "back space" to erase old time > type time in military time (HHMMSS) > "enter" > press "cancel" 2 times > press "restart"
> Press Enter > Press Setup > (password if prompted: 1 - alpha - alpha - 66831) > scroll down to "date/time" > select "date/time" > key in full date (MMDDYYYY) > press enter > key in new time (HHMMSS)
FD (all models)
> System > date and time > no > back space to erase time > Enter hour (HH) (military time) > press alpha key 2 times > press right arrow to make a ":" (colon) > enter minutes (MM) > press alpha key 2 times > press right arrow to make ":" (colon) > enter seconds (SS) 00 > enter > enter > yes > clear
PAX (all models)
> Menu > 5 > "enter" > enter today's date MMDDYYYY > type in time in military time (HHMMSS) > "enter" > press "menu" to go back to main screen
Ingenico (ICT Series)
> Press the F button > enter password 1234567F enter > press 0 > select 3 for initialization > 1 for parameters > select "date and time" > select "set time" > enter HHMM > enter > hit the red key twice to exit.
Ingenico (5100 and 7780)
> Admin > 3 > 6 > enter DDMMYY, HHMM > hit the red key twice to exit.
