It is not spam. It contains vital information necessary for your claim submission.

What is this about?

In short, this case is mainly about fees that merchants paid for accepting Visa or Mastercard from 2004 to 2019. Among other things, the lawsuit alleges that Visa and Mastercard violated the law by imposing rules restricting merchants from suggesting other payment methods, keeping fees high without competition. As part of the agreement, Visa, Mastercard, and the Issuing Bank Defendants will pay $5.54 billion to merchants in the Settlement Class. The amount you get depends on the fees you paid or estimated between January 1, 2004, and January 25, 2019, for Visa and Mastercard transactions. Again, If you plan on submitting a claim, save the letter you have already received or may receive shortly! It contains essential information for your claim submission. Per the Card Settlement site, claim forms began mailing on December 1, 2023, and will continue being sent for most of December. Because of the large number of claim forms being sent, you may not receive yours until late December 2023, or January 2024.
